What A Night In London
CITYSCAPE opened on Friday 11 September at 200 Battersea Park Rd, and London showed up.
The room filled from the first half hour. Collectors, curators, artists and their people, drinks going round, and work from artists all over the world on the walls and screens. Some of them travelled for it. Some saw their work hanging in a gallery for the very first time. That moment never gets old, for them or for us.
The exhibition stayed open through the weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 5, with a slower crowd who took their time with every piece. This show sold out before it opened, and standing in that room on Friday night, it was obvious why.
To every artist who trusted us with their work, everyone who came through the doors, and everyone who bought a piece and took a story home: thank you. Nights like this are the whole point.
